A Swedish-Russian Working Group on Information Technologies and Communications is created in the framework of the activities of the Swedish-Russian Intergovernmental Council.

The Working Group includes 3 sub-committees:

1. Technological Regulation (co-chairs: Mr. Bo Bergner, Technical Director, Department National Post & Telecom Agency, Sweden; Mrs. Tamara A. Moiseeva, Deputy Director General, Department of ICT Policy, Ministry for Information Technologies and Communications, Russian Federation);
2. Business Interaction (co-chairs: Mrs. Ylva Hambraeus Bjorling, Managing Director, Swedish IT and Telecom Industry; Mr. Alexander N. Kalinin, Member of Board, AP KIT, and President, National Computer Company, Russian Federation);
3. Information Society and Regional Cooperation (co-chairs: Mr. Jesper Hedlund, Director, Governmental Adviser, Ericsson, Sweden; Mr. Yuri E. Hohlov, chairman of the Board and Regional Programs Director, Institute of the Information Society,  Russian Federation).
